The challenge of this project was to create two modern units out of a narrow rooming house that was cut up and divided into 7 separate bedrooms. 

A glass wall acts as a barrier between the kitchen and the floating staircase, and serves as a backsplash that allows natural light into the space. 

The rear extension is clad in plywood sheets to enclose the study and provide additional warmth to the space
